July 20
Spiritual Spark
The Day of the Spiritual Spark energies prompt July 20 people to bring out the best and the worst in others. If this is your birthday, or you resonate with today’s energy then rarely are you met with apathy but elicit strong responses, even when you do not seem to be acting in a provocative fashion. Just your presence alone can be somewhat intimidating and therefore arouse antagonism, but your intense drive and fortitude may also inspire admiration.

Malachi 4:2 “But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.
St John's Wort
The Sun Tarot energies manifest in St John's Wort. Happiness begets happiness. Rediate liveliness and vitality. Fully experience the sheer gift of being alive. St John's wort is best known as a mood-lifting plant but it also repairs skin from trauma and soothes nerve-related pain. The flower buds emit a rich pigment that yields vibrant red potions. The flowers and buds peak at the height of summer, the most potent time for wildcrafting. Make magic and medicine when your joy is in full bloom. Seek vibrant people and healing experiences that build good energy and boost your power. The leaves of St John's wort shimmer like diamonds when held up to the sun. Step into the light and show your sparkle.
Spiritual Spark and Guidance Activation
AFFIRMATIONS
Choose an affirmation and repeat several times daily, or during meditation (masculine/feminine).
- I have all the guidance I need within.
- Today I intend to receive a sign to guide me on my path.
- When I need guidance, I ask for help and receive it.
MINI MEDITATION
Do this before you go to sleep. On a piece of paper, write down an issue for which you’d like guidance. For example, I would like guidance about what to do about my current difficult situation at work, I would like guidance about what career is best for me.
Hold the piece of paper and close your eyes. Imagine the feeling you will get when you have received guidance. Place the paper under your pillow and go to sleep. When you wake, pick up the piece of paper and imagine you have received this question from someone else. Write down your answer for them. Don’t worry about being right or wrong, just write what comes to mind. Repeat this each night and morning if needed until deeper guidance appears.
