Dance of the Ancestors, the spirit of the earth warriors, your ancestors, encourage you to know that no enemy shall defeat you, not by night nor by day, not upon the earth, nor in the soul.
Earth Warrior Ancestors:
You are divinely protected and empowered. The ancestors energy is the medicine of light, sound and the ability to penetrate the darkness of lower level consciousness. Lower level consciousness could overwhelm our sense of spirit, joy, heartfelt authenticity and inspiration with defeatism, despair, boredom and even terror.
This attacking onslaught from darkness comes at certain times to those seeking to embody and activate their light on earth. One of these times may be when you are feeling strong and making progress. You may feel tested to sustain that lighter level of being and awareness especially through the challenge.
Another of these times may be when you feel weaker, more vulnerable, perhaps fatigued from a challenging time and just not quite able to summon the quality of joy on your own. In such moments of stress, the earth warriors path, your ancestors come to your assistance.

Ancestors Are Protectors
Your ancestors are protectors. They also need you to assist yourself by remaining of high vibration. One of the best ways to help you with this may surprise you. It is with dance.
Your ancestors are patrons of dance. They know that with a simple movement of your hip, you can move into your authentic dance and connect with joy. You are hardwired to move in the way your ancestors moved. When you move in dance, the beauty of your soul shines bright. It is a loud call for your ancestors to come and join you. It is said that one of the first things that a shaman will ask of a person who is plagued by demons, or in our modern paradigm unable to summon the energy for their truthful and sacred purpose in the world is, “When was the last time you danced?”
Dancing is Cleansing of the Spirit
Dancing, whether literally moving your body to music or symbolically in whatever makes your being light up, is a way to invoke aliveness so that we can tap into the joy that counteracts darkness. Consider what makes you feel like your soul is dancing. Make time and space for it in your life, as a practice for sustaining and strengthening your spirit.
Answers Flow in High Vibrational Energy
Your ancestors want you to know that whatever answer you are seeking can be answered through the dance. The answer is in the overarching theme of your circumstances. Is your question about a struggle? The answer is to relax and let go of your need to control the situation. If your inquiry relates to finding love, then embody love rather than long for it. Once you find the essential truth that underlies your question and then name it, you’ll discover the answer you’ve been seeking. Your greatest power is your authenticity.
Summon Your Wisdom and Creativity Through Healing Movement
Part of your ancestors divine purpose is bearing the clouds providing rain, thunder and lightning. Their wisdom reminds us that movement is healing. When energy is stagnant, we can struggle. This doesn’t mean we abstain from rest. Rest allows energy to circulate through our being. We emerge from rest feeling renewed and refreshed. Movement to circulate energy means flowing in relationship with our bodies, minds and souls, trusting your inner rhythms.
Most modern lifestyles make it difficult to live an honest relationship with the mind and body. It can be tricky to find the time and place to authentically and spontaneously honor your natural needs for expression and flow, so you summon your wisdom and creativity to find a way. Your ancestors say that you must be willing to move with the storm wisdom within us, or we shall be moved by the storm around us. We will be moved by those events which startle us from our routine when we are falling asleep, rather than resting and living. Give yourself permission to explore a more authentic relationship with yourself and trust that in the process, and sometimes those changes will include how we live and work, where we live and with whom we share our lives, the changes that happen will be healing.

When was the last time you let yourself move to the rhythm of music? Whether you’re a confident dancer, have two left feet, or are physically unable to dance, you can enjoy the healing power of dance in whatever way is suitable for you. You can do something as simple as listen to music and imagine yourself dancing in your mind, or you can turn the music up at home and let loose. Allow yourself to enjoy the fun of movement.
