Why Meditate on Bible Scriptures?
Meditation is beneficial. Bible understanding is also beneficial. When you combine the desire for Bible understanding with meditation, you have a powerful combination.
The Masculine and Feminine of Scripture

Benefits of Mindful Meditation
Many might ask why meditate on Bible scriptures? The simple answer is the Bible and meditation are both beneficial; combined they are phenomenal. The masculine and feminine qualities of the Father/Mother God are interwoven throughout the Bible. And although, the Mother is hidden by name, She is well represented.
Meditation is the way to integrate the masculine and feminine within yourself and thus be balanced.
Ephesians 5:31-33 brings out, “31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother (We leave the Father/Mother God when we incarnate on the earth) and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
Marrying Your Masculine and Feminine Selves Together
A Harmonious Marriage
The marrying of the masculine and feminine essences within yourself is essential in order to be whole in the eyes of God. The purpose of this website is to help you over-stand that the Bible pertains to you. In this instance it is talking about the marriage that must go on within you.
Marrying the masculine to the feminine parts of yourself together so that you can become balance.
As a whole person, you are the Christ, you are the church, also the husband and the wife. It does not matter if you were born, or identify, as a man or woman.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 “May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together – spirit, soul, and body – and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ.”

Feminine and Masculine Approaches

A Meditation Practice
Meditation, in general is good for many reasons, such as to combat stress, boost positive emotions, improve physical and mental health or as part of a spiritual practice. The lines blur with practice and although you receive all the benefits, spirituality always has a major role in meditation.
Spirituality is, in and of itself, masculine and feminine. This is the reason masculine and feminine meditation on the scriptures is a profound life experience.
The masculine and feminine concept of the Bible’s spirituality explores the fact that the universe comprises of qualities that represent both states.
- With the feminine comes receptivity, being, surrender, reflection, feeling, softness, creativity and nurture,
- while the masculine features productivity, doing, control, willpower, facts, strength and logic.
The key to a harmonious existence is to find a balance between them within yourself. They are interlaced in an intricate dance that will lead to happiness and satisfaction of life.
Meditation and Affirmations
Balance
There are two ways to approach meditation on the scriptures. It can be an open observation of the deepness of the topic (feminine) or it can be a focused probe into the geometric structure of it (masculine).
Since we are a makeup of both masculine and feminine energies, the most healing thing to do is to use both of these methods interchangingly. This will bring balance.
Truths are Like Seeds
Bible truths are like the seeds of a pomegranate. These truths are plentiful and full of nourishment but they do take effort on our part to consume.
Seeds are both feminine and masculine. The ratio of feminine to masculine seeds is 50/50. It would be silly to sit and try to determine which seeds are which. Or, eat only one seed energy over the other. They are both nourishing and needed for balance.

Affirmations and Meditating in the Feminine

Meditating on the feminine is about opening up to the full spectrum of experience and not being worried about the outcome.
The Butterfly Nature of the Mind
Rather than anchoring your attention to a particular subject, sensation or prayer. It remains open and you observe the butterfly nature of the mind, without judgement, granting permission for it to explore.
The idea is to develop feminine qualities such as compassion, receptivity and intuition.
AFFIRMATIONS
Choose an affirmation and repeat several times daily, or during meditation.
- I am one with the earth.
- My intuition is on point.

Affirmations and Meditating in the Masculine
Meditating in the masculine tends to emphasize qualities like control and discipline. By honing attention on a particular goal, subject or aspect of reality, it aims to quicken the mind.
Choose an Anchor
Meditators are encouraged to choose an anchor. This could the breath, the body, a subject, a scripture or a prayer with which to reconnect if at any time your mind strays into its stories, memories, plans or problems. With practice, meditators can improve concentrations and focus.
Masculine meditations usually have a specific goal that shapes the experience.
Sometimes that intention might have feminine qualities. Nothing is ever fully one or the other, for example connecting with the present moment, finding calm and stillness, or perhaps enhancing performance in a particular sporting activity. The meditation usually follows a strict protocol so that a meditator’s experience is managed for them.

What is the Best Type of Meditation for Me?

Whether you use a masculine or feminine style meditation will depend on many factors. You might respond differently depending on the time of day and what’s going on in your life.
There are No Rules
There are no rules about which you should choose, they are available as a toolkit for you to take advantage of whenever. Begin by asking yourself what you are looking for in your meditative experience and you can choose the style accordingly.
Practicing mindfulness will help you get and stay in touch with what you are thinking and how you are feeling. To help do this, at various moments throughout the day, focus on what you are doing in the present moment.
Continue doing it, but with a heightened sense of awareness and mindfulness. Observe each moment, watch the process unfold, notice every detail and aspect of it.
Practicing this regularly helps you to become more mindful of living in the moment and knowing yourself better.
What is the most beautiful in virile men is something feminine; what is most beautiful in feminine women is something masculine.
