Meditation on The Number Eight

Number Eight = Rupture or Separation

The Number Eight equals rupture or separation. The Number Eight is often associated with the color Dark Violet. Violet regenerates your nervous system and heals insomnia, mental disorders, physical illness, and injuries affecting the eyes and the brain. It is especially helpful with treating epilepsy, balancing energy and reprogramming cells. Violet also activates intuition, opens creativity, and increases the psychic senses to release karma and regain freedom from past issues.

Number Eight Balancing Energy

Balance is an important part of life; 
it is the recognition that every 
challenge contains a blessing and 
every blessing contains a challenge. 
With it, we embrace the whole of life.
Acknowledge the power of your mind 
and your ability to manifest your
desires.

You are being urges to familiarize 
yourself with the Law of Attraction
and clarify your wants and needs, 
for you have entered a powerful cycle
of Divine manifestation. Provided
that your dreams serve the greater 
good, as well as the intentions of
your soul, the Universe will assist
you in making them come true
without any harmful effects.
Focus on any area in your life that 
seems out of balance. If you could 
learn something from it, what would 
it be?

Close your eyes and imagine a Violet 
gift box floating toward you. When it 
comes closer, unwrap it and receive its 
gift into your heart. Allow a Violet 
ray of light to penetrate your body, 
relaxing and energizing it as you let 
go of any fear, stress or worry and 
bring back balance.

Say, "Divine Intelligence, please allow 
me to create a balanced and harmonious 
life full of blessings and joy".

Manifestation

The energy of Number Eight indicates a need to acknowledge the power of your mind and your ability to manifest your desires. You are being urges to familiarize yourself with the Law of Attraction and clarify your wants and needs. 

You have entered a powerful cycles of Divine manifestation. Provided that your dreams serve the greater good, as well as the intentions of your soul, the Universe will assist you in making them come true.

You are being reminded that successful manifestation requires more than just positive and wishful thinking. You must also surrender the outcome to the Divine and detach from the results.

Remember that the Law of Attraction works both ways, so pay attention to your doubts, worries and fears. Monitor your negative thoughts. Then focus predominantly on what you want rather than what you fear or don't want.

In order to improve your current situation, you are being asked to adjust to and harmonize with, the natural rhythm and cycles of your life. Cycles that are leading you toward a time of manifestation. 

By making peace with your life as it is today and appreciating what you already have, you will create the life you've always imagined

Number Eight Meditation: RAIN

RAIN stands for; Recognition, Allow (or Accept), Investigate and Nourish. You can use it with any experience. Make it a stand alone meditative practice. It is especially helpful with difficult emotions and thoughts

Sit in a comfortable position and allow the eyes to gently close. From the beginning, try to bring kindness to the practice. Think of your body with friendliness. Listen to it and see if you can move to get more comfortable. Don’t fall asleep. But, do allow yourself to be very comfortable.

Bring up a difficult experience of emotion. Recognize the thoughts as they come up. The sensations that you are feeling in your body. The insistent critical inner voice you often hear. Spend a few moment just acknowledging the difficulty. Think about the different ways this difficulty manifests itself into your daily life.

Move to the next phase: Allowance or Acceptance

When you experience unpleasant emotions usually you just want to be rid of them. Instead, allow it to be present in you. You may try offering this simply phrase of equanimity and acceptance: “Right now it’s like this”. Continue to work with acceptance for another five (5) minutes. Bring your mind back when it starts to push the difficulty away.

Now start investigating more deeply. You recognized what you were feeling in the first step of RAIN. In investigation, allow curiosity to take over. Ask yourself where you feel vulnerable, how this emotion serves you and if you think you can ever be free of this pain.

For the final five minutes, turn toward nourishing yourself with compassion. This whole practice has been one of self-compassion, as you are tending to your pain with self-compassion rather than denying it. However make a dedicated effort to offer a few phrases of compassion and open the heart.

Be the energy you want to attract.
