Day of the Groundbreakers
January 23, the Day of the Groundbreakers, is a day to release stored anger and self-punishment for actual and perceived injustices. Anger stored in your body is self-destructive. The mantras for today are:
- I forgive others.
- I forgive myself.
- I am free to love and enjoy life freely in this body.
We are all subject to the heavenly energies of the day.
If this is your birthday, or if you resonate with today’s energies, then you are happiest when you are breaking new ground, forging ahead in an effort to promote and implement your ideas and dreams. This should not give the impression that you are particularly radical or revolutionary since you are more often of a cautious and measured nature.
Indeed, those born on this day generally embrace firmly established values, consider your plans carefully before acting and stay closely linked to the family or social group to which you belong. You can often be found improving the lot of this group, and because you are mentally quick you instinctively find the best way to do so. In this sense you are prophetic, capable of looking into the future and seeing not only what will be necessary at a later date but also how to make ready for it.
Don’t micromanage your life, beware of being penny-wise but pound foolish. Planting too much for the future can inhibit the natural flow of events. Learn to be more accepting of others’ viewpoints.
Those born of the 23rd day of the month are influenced by the number five (2+3=5)
Number Five = Mediation and Sacrifice
The Number Five equals mediation and sacrifice. The Number Five is often associated with the color Dusky Teal (Azure). Teal purifies your aura and strengthens your connections to the Divine. Leading you to discover your truth and empowering you to make important life choices.
Breathe in Teal rays of light to feel safe and secure, imagining a Teal bubble of light that surrounds and protects you. Say, "I ask Divine Healing Light to surround me with love, peace and healing. Please bar any dense energy from entering my space and affecting me. Thank You." Do this for yourself and your loved ones whenever you would like some added protection.
Number Five: Expansion, Movement, Change
The energy of the Number Five brings a time of unexpected change, when anything can happen and usually does. This energy can encourage you to think of your life as an adventure in which exciting opportunities could appear at any moment. Sacrifice Your Fear in Exchange for Love Don't fear the unfamiliar and unknown. You are urged to embrace expansion, movement and change. This is a time to go with the flow and open yourself to opportunities that will improve your quality of life.
Anything is Possible
Anything is possible. The wheels are already set in motion, so be sure to play your part by moving closer to your dreams. Make changes in your mind set, relationships, residence, lifestyle or career. Shift the things needed things around to serve your greatest good. It is time to broaden your horizons and re-spark your passion for life. In order to improve your current situation, you are being asked to adjust to and harmonize with the natural rhythm and cycles of your life. Cycles that are leading you toward a time of movement and change. Procrastination, resistance and fear only take you out of alignment, so surrender yourself to the opportunities that are about to present themselves. Trust that you're Divinely loved and guided, and you'll be shown the way.
January 23 and The Hierophant
The Hierophant , an interpreter of sacred mysteries who is symbolic of human understanding and of faith. His knowledge is esoteric and he has authority over things unseen. Favorable traits conferred by this energy are self-assuredness, absence of doubt and proper interpretation.
The Hierophant and The Bible
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. 14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” John 10:11-18
The Energies of the Hierophant Manifests in Cacao Cacao, the secrets of the sacred are available to all. Learn them. Teach them. Drinking pure cacao is an ancient practice that leads to greater perceptive awareness by opening the heart. Commercial chocolate is cacao stripped of its beneficial properties, cloaked in delicious yet harmful ingredients. Only true cacao can open the capillaries and increase blood flow. Spiritual teaching must speak authentically to reach the heart, but some things, must be revealed slowly. As too much cacao can cause the pulse to quicken, learning too much too fast can overwhelm. Have patience with the pace of the Divine. Remain devoted to mystery, yet have a respect for ceremony.

MINI MEDITATION: FOCUS THE HEART
Sit in a comfortable position that will allow you to remain alert and then focus your concentration on this exercise. Close your eyes and prepare for the meditation. Think of a soft emerald green light in your heart area. As you bring yourself into the present moment, check the mind and body for things you have carried throughout the day - perhaps things that have been going on recently or thoughts from the events of the day. Whatever the thoughts and feelings are, simply acknowledge them and allow them to be, without any analysis or judgement. Bring awareness to your breathing. Just breathe naturally and normally, without trying to control it; being mindful of the breath rising and falling as you inhale and exhale. As you breathe in focus on breathing in and then as you breathe out, focus on breathing out. Simply concentrate on the breath, breathing in and breathing out. Now gently shift your focus from the breath and bring it to sensations on the body. Observe and acknowledge the myriad of sensations flowing through the body as they change with each moment.
If you find areas of tightness and tension with your body check, try to allow them to soften and relax.
See yourself sitting in a cinema. As the movie begins, you watch a scene from your life about a dream that never came true. Maybe you’d wanted a promotion, a new house, a relationship – something you were promised that did not come to pass. Allow yourself to feel the disappointment again. Now rewrite the scene. How does you story end now?
